Welcome.

Explore art that brings you into spaces that feel both real and unreal. Step closer, and you may find yourself wandering inside, where silence becomes poetry and transition reveals its hidden beauty.

Hi, I am Heidi Linck

I am a visual artist based in The Netherlands. My practice is driven by my desire to transform ruins, which usually are neglected and wasted, into places of wonder.

A space for wonder,

every day

My works bring the stillness of forgotten places into your home. Each piece cultivates mystery, leaving space for your imagination to enter. They offer not explanations, but perspectives. Not answers, but wonder. Each image reveals traces of human presence and may bring back memories of stories only you can tell. With my work, I aim to offer a space where you can return again and again, to be surprised, to be stilled, to be renewed by wonder.

My work is regularly exhibited in shows. For those who prefer to view and/or purchase art in the quiet atmosphere at my studio, I am currently updating my available works.

My collectors are saying:

“We experience such a stillness and serenity when we view this piece. This is why we want it in our home and share it with our friends.”

Nils and Jacob, designer and architect, Haarlem

“When I saw it, I just knew that I needed such a dark place inside my home, and this particular piece keeps me wanting to enter.”

Henri, sound designer, Ede

“I travelled a lot in Eastern Europe. This piece brings me back to the many abandoned places that I visited and the history that is so tangible there.”

Pim, entrepreneur, Amsterdam

Let’s collaborate!

I love to collaborate with those who stand before ruins and feel not loss, but poetry. With those who find calm where others see desolation.

  • Each image begins as a handmade scale model, based on a real abandoned place where I’ve been, and carefully crafted by hand. Photography transforms my models into vast spaces, where the boundary between reality and fiction dissolves. Through the lens, the model becomes a vast, mysterious space that invites to step inside, to pause, to dream, and to rediscover the magic of reality.

Each print is a limited edition of 3 (+ 1 A.P.), signed and numbered.

Museum-grade papers and archival inks are used in the printing process. Mounting and framing are optional, so that your print is ready for display in your home. In collaboration with a Dutch printing and framing company, I have my prints finished and framed by a patented process called ‘diasec’. In this procedure, the print is mounted between dibond and anti-reflective acrylic glass, ensuring depth, texture, and longevity.

Although I am impressed by its possibilities, no AI is involved in the creation of my art.

  • Yes I do.

For prints-only (not finished, not framed) shipping costs are free.

Framed works are fragile and need tailormade packaging and shipping. Therefore, shipping costs will be added.
