Heidi Linck performs artistic research and interventions in silent and abandoned spaces. Her drawings and projects research the memory of abandoned places in physical traces and invisible presences like absence, silence and atmosphere. By her research-based interventions, she activates the audience to explore specific sites in a new way.
Institutions where her work was exhibited include De Appel, Amsterdam (Prix de Rome 2009); Maurits van de Laar, The Hague; The State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, Russia; Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Rijeka, Croatia and Amsterdam Drawing. Heidi Linck is an experienced and certified academic art teacher and and regularly appointed as a curator / advisor of art projects and artist-in-residencies.
