Kerkenpaden, Provincie Gelderland
Kerkenpaden was een project van Provincie Gelderland waarin kunstenaars werden gevraagd om permanente werken te ontwerpen in het landschap tussen provinciale wegen en historische kerkenpaden. Ik kreeg een plek in Nunspeet toegewezen. Met mijn werk wilde ik de gemeenschap in Nunspeet een stille plek in de natuur bieden om alleen te zijn met hun donkerste gedachtes. Hoewel het voorstel één van de drie winnende ontwerpen was, is het werk nooit uitgevoerd, doordat de locatie bij nader inzien niet beschikbaar was. Hetzelfde geldt voor de twee andere winnende ontwerpen.
Kerkenpaden was a project by the Province of Gelderland in which artists were asked to design permanent works in the landscape between provincial roads and historic church paths. I was assigned a spot in Nunspeet. With my work I wanted to offer the community in Nunspeet a tranquil place in nature to be alone with their darkest thoughts. Although the proposal was one of the three winning designs, the work was never executed because the location was not available after all. The same applies to the two other winning designs.
